Welcome to the official site of The Cullman Grotto, located in Cullman, Alabama We are a chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS). The grotto was established in 1994 when local cavers came together to form a caving group close to home.

Our goal is to promote responsible cave exploration, or "caving", through education and conservation, for those interested in discovering the amazing world that lies beneath.

Over the years, grotto members have come and gone, but the heart of our grotto remains active and inviting. We welcome all who want to get involved.
